Animal Rescues needs help!

A significant problem in the USA is the number of animals, especially dogs, surrendered to animal rescues and shelters.  This Times article is from Jan 2024, and the problem has worsened. 

They are very short on volunteer fosters and funds to support them.  Please help these non-profit animal rescues where you can, state or city—especially the smaller ones doing their best.
